The African Tourism and Hospitality Investment-Ready Business Workshop (ATHW) provides a platform to empower and support African travel, tourism, and hospitality businesses to harness investment readiness for economic development and expansion, by leveraging on investment and trade opportunities within the tourism space and related sectors in Africa. In line with its theme, Remodeling the business of tourism through investment-readiness, ATHW2024 will highlight on entrepreneurism and innovation in reinventing the tourism sector and contributing to sustainable growth and development.
ATHW aims to promote tourism and investment opportunities, innovation, capacity-strengthening solutions, trends, and economic solutions for sustainable growth between African destinations and global potential investors.

About the organizers
Tourism Invest Africa (TIA) is a solution-driven project creating sustainable pathways to connect investors and tourism investment opportunities in Africa. TIA is the first point of call for investor-ready travel, tourism, and hospitality businesses to connect with angel investors, private equity, and venture capital companies along with a broad range of business partners.
Championed by Vera Iremuah Sharon Ohioma from GATEHUB and Joseph M. Kafunda of Rafiki Tours and Safaris, TIA facilitates the closure of investment gaps in African tourism and hospitality. Our aim through this initiative, is to contribute to poverty alleviation through the creation of at least 1,000 sustainable jobs for African women and youth.
